Golden Gate National Park hikes are the perfect way to take in the breathtaking Drakensberg views and enjoy the landscape which is budding with indigenous flora and fauna.
At Glen Reenen camp there are a variety of hikes, ranging in difficulty from 1 hour – 4 hour options. There are 4 short hikes which are suitable for children too, The ‘Mushroom Hike’ is a favourite easy option. If you choose a shorter trail you may still have time for lunch in Clarens, which is only a 15 minute drive.
